·     Lecturer / Assistant Professor

 

Applicants must have at least a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Korean Language education as a second language or a relevant discipline from a recognised university, with teaching and research experience in teaching Korean as a second language for at least 3 years (or more than 1,000 teaching hours) at a higher education institution. Preference will be given to applicants who are fluent in English and can speak and teach more than one language from those offered at the Centre.  Applicants must be willing to team-teach when required. Successful applicants will be expected to be involved in: teaching undergraduate / postgraduate and continuing education courses and programmes; research; consultancy and other language-related services; as well as in relevant student / language club activities.

 

·         Education Officer

 

Applicants must have at least a Master Degree (MA) in Korean Language education as a second language or a relevant discipline from a recognised university, with experience in teaching Korean as a second language at a higher education institution.  Preference will be given to applicants who are fluent in English and can speak and teach more than one language from those offered at the Centre.  Applicants must be willing to team-teach when required. Successful applicants will be expected to be involved in: teaching undergraduate / postgraduate and continuing education courses and programmes; consultancy and other language-related services; as well as in relevant student / language club activities.
